The Iota Phi chapter of the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation is the 211th link out of 237 links around the country. On February 4, 1989 the Iota Phi chapter was established at NCSU. Since then, the Iota Phi chapter has been ranked in the top 5 chapters in the nation and has repeatedly received honors and awards from International Office. In the past five years, ZTA has been one of eight sororities to be nominated for “best sorority” at NC State.

Our members continually receive awards from Greek Life for their relentless dedication to their studies and involvement around campus. The Iota Phi chapter has been NC State Homecoming Champions in 2005 and again in 2007! For the past two years ZTA has been Greek Week champions meanwhile, for the past ten years ZTA has held the 1st place trophy for winning Derby Days, the competitive philanthropy event benefitting the Frankie Lemmon School of Raleigh! Each year ZTA raises more money than any other chapter on campus for our philanthropy through our annual Crown Classic golf tournament in the fall and our annual Spaghetti dinner in the spring! Zeta Tau Alpha also always supports other sororities on campus in their fundraising endeavors, such as Delta Gamma's Anchor Splash and Alpha Delta Pi's Ron-a-Thon!
