On June 14, 2008; Sisters of the Iota Phi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha living in Raleigh for the summer participated in the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure marathon. The Komen NC Triangle Race for the CureŽ is the largest foot-race in North Carolina, attracting 22,000 walkers and runners in 2007. Now in its 12th year, this event has raised more than $7 million to support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs. It was a great sisterhood bonding experience all the while also supporting our national philanthropy!
